How long does the Ooma Smart Cam battery last?

The Ooma Smart Cam battery lasts up to 3 months with average use. Average use assumes that your camera records for approximately 5 minutes per day. The following environmental factors can also reduce battery life: 

• Temperatures below 32°F (0°C). 
• Low-light environments that require infrared sensors to work harder. 
• A weak connection to the wifi router caused by distance, wifi interference, or solid obstructions between the camera and the internet router. 

Note: You can also keep the Ooma Smart Cam plugged in using its own power adapter and cable, which are shipped with the product. In this case, the battery will act as a backup during the event of a power outage.
