What are the differences between Ooma Basic and Ooma Premier?

Although Ooma Basic and Ooma Premier both offer unlimited, nationwide, crystal-clear calling for free, there are some key differences between the two service tiers. 

While Ooma Basic costs nothing (all you pay are applicable taxes and fees), Ooma Premier costs less than $10 a month. Both Basic and Premier offer the following features: 

  • Free U.S. or Canada calling
  • Call waiting
  • Call logs
  • E911 service (where available)
  • Voicemail access

By upgrading to Premier for less than $10 a month, you get all of the features of Basic and an additional suite of calling and mobility features, including: 

  • Enhanced caller-ID
  • Powerful call blocking capabilities
  • Receiving incoming calls on the Ooma Mobile app
  • Google Voice extensions
  • Integration with Nest, Google Voice, Dropbox, Amazon Alexa, iOS/Android, and more
